Joy

I thought I would write a blog post today on Joy. I Want to blog about what brings me joy in life. First of all I want to state that Joy is a feeling, a good feeling and it is important for all humans on the earth to have joy in their lives. It saddens me that there are people in the world who do not experience joy and places in the world where there is no joy.

Things That Bring Me Joy
  1. I Find Joy In Attending A Pentecostal Church. The Mormon church tries to tell people that their church is the only church has the authority to Baptise people and perform other ceremonies but I don't believe that. I get this amazing feeling from attending a Pentecostal church and in my heart know that the Pentecostal church is the right church.
  2. I Find Joy In Boxing. It's fun to fight in a controlled environment. Boxing is also good exercise and teaches confidents and discipline. Boxing just makes me feel better about myself.
  3. I Find Joy In Curling. I enjoy the feeling of being on the ice.
  4. I Find Joy In Drinking Apple Cider. I enjoy the taste of Apple Cider.
  5. I Find Joy In Drinking Coffee. In the Mormon religion you are taught to stay clear of coffee. But I think that coffee is an amazing drink. Drinking coffee makes me feel better about myself and brightens up my spirit.
  6. I Find Joy In Drinking Tea: In the Mormon religion you are taught to stay clear of Tea. But I think that tea is an amazing drink. Drinking tea makes feel better about myself. Drinking tea calms me down and makes me feel relaxed. I love to drink tea.
  7. I Find Joy In Going For Runs. I enjoy going for runs. There is nothing better then getting exercise.
  8. I Find Joy In Knitting. I find joy in knitting. I love to knit for people in need
  9. I Find Joy In Listening To Music. I find joy in listening to music.

Why I Created This Blog

I created this blog as I want a blog where I can talk about all things good in life. There is so much negativity and violence in the world. And wars are happening in the world. So if I can do my part to be positive and talk about peace, love and happiness then I feel as if I am doing my part in the world. My goal is to try and blog weekly for now.

About Me

My name is Emily Krauss. I grew up in the city of Coquitlam which is in the beautiful province of British Columbia on the West Coast. During my childhood I had the privilege of going on many bike rides and hiking. Maybe that is the reason why I have a love for tourism, the outdoors, the mountains, bike riding and hiking. I have lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the East Coast of Canada. Nova Scotia doesn’t have the mountains but at least there is the ocean. "You can't always have the best of both worlds". While living in Halifax, Nova Scotia I found Jesus. And still today religion plays a part in my life. I miss The Rock Church located in Sackville, Nova Scotia but enjoy the church I am a part of today. I have a certificate from college as a Health Care Assistant and a diploma in Recreation Therapy. I have a passion for providing care to people. I also have a Traffic Control Certificate. I also have a love for textiles. I also have a love for textiles. At the moment my main interests are Crochet and Knitting. I also like drop-spinning, pillow making, quilting and sewing. I want to learn how to cross-stitch and I also want to learn how to use a spinning wheel. I want to become better at dress making and pyjama making.  In my ideal world I would be working as a photographer and on the side I would be making and selling my textiles as well as teaching people to knit and crochet. I would also have a dog as dogs are companions for life. I would want a pug. Currently I live in Victoria, British Columbia. I love living in the capital of British Columbia. I attend a Pentecostal church and go to a Boxing gym. I dream of taking part in a boxing fight. I also am studying to become a fitness trainer. I also have an interest in curling. I enjoy bike riding, hiking, swimming, kayaking, field hockey and tennis. I also enjoy playing the recorder, harmonica, and learning how to play the ukulele and guitar. I want to eventually buy a flute and a fife.
